The Left’s new target

On October 27, 2008, in Elections, by stix1972

Now that we know everything about Joe the Plumber, and he will probably never get another job with the reaming he got from the MSM and the Left, the Left needs another person to go after.   And now they are after Tiffany Wilson and Shelby Holliday, reporters for Palestra.net, a college broadcast news service.   And why are they getting the ire of the Left and Obama’s campaign???   Well, they are looking into the Voter Fraud that is going on in Ohio.

Move over Joe – Palestra.net reporters are the new targets of the left

If you’ve been following the issues of voter registration verification and voter fraud in Ohio on my blog, you’ll recognize the names Tiffany Wilson and Shelby Holliday as reporters for Palestra.net, a college broadcast news service.

They’ve done tremendous work investigating and exposing out-of-state campaign workers who registered and cast ballots in Ohio, even though they are not eligible to do so. As a result of their inquiries, some of the ineligible voters have withdrawn both their registrations and ballots – but not all have done so.—-Maggie Thurber

More from the ACORN front.

On October 15, 2008, in Elections, by stix1972

From my friends over at AFNONLINE.   ACORN has been saying they have been telling election officials about the illegal and fraudulent voter registrations, but AFN’s investigation has found that this is not true in most cases.

Paul Collier- AFN

News sources in America are not reporting the fact that ACORN, the group that is trying to help leftist candidates like Obama to win elections by the use of fraud, is lying when it claims that the allegations of fraud were brought to the attention of County officials, as an ongoing investigation by the AFN has uncovered.

Acorn spokesperson and financial services lobbyist (Fannie Mae, Bank of America, etc) Scott Levenson claims that Acorn brought the fraudulent registration forms to the attention of the authorities. One of the areas with a lot of alleged fraud is Cleveland, Ohio where a Cuyahoga county investigation has revealed thousands of fraudulent registrations all stemming from ACORN (See story here:). ACORN argues on the media, and is not being challenged, that they voluntarily broght these problems to the attention of County officials.—AFNONLINE

If you have anyinformation on these allegations email Paul at pc@writepaulonline

And you can also register at AFN to get more information as it comes out.

BUCKEYE INSTITUTE FILES STATE RICO ACTION AGAINST ACORN

Think Tank Represents Two Warren County Voters

COLUMBUS – The Buckeye Institute, a Columbus-based think tank, today filed a state RICO action against the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) on behalf of two Warren County voters. The action filed in Warren County Court of Common Pleas alleges ACORN has engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity that amounts to organized crime. It seeks ACORN’s dissolution as a legal entity, the revocation of any licenses in Ohio, and an injunction against fraudulent voter registration and other illegal activities.

Plaintiffs Jennifer Miller of Mason, Ohio and Kimberly Grant of Loveland, allege that ACORN’s actions deprive them of the right to participate in an honest and effective elections process. They allege fraudulent voter registrations submitted by ACORN dilute the votes of legally registered voters.

“The right to cast a vote that is not diluted by fraudulent votes is a fundamental individual right,” Buckeye Institute President David Hansen said.

“ACORN appears to be recklessly disregarding Ohio laws and adding thousands of fraudulent voters to the state’s roles in the process,” Maurice Thompson, Director of the Buckeye Institute’s 1851 Center for Constitutional Law said. “Such voter fraud erodes the value of legally cast votes,” he added.

In the complaint, Thompson cites an accumulation of evidence showing numerous instances of admitted fraud by ACORN employees, as well as individuals solicited by ACORN.

“In light of its hiring, training and compensation practices, ACORN should have known its conduct would cause fraud,” Thompson said. “It also should know that its conduct will cause fraud in the future.”

In addition, the complaint cites conduct by ACORN in Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

A full copy of the complaint is available online at http://www.buckeyeinstitute.org/acorn.pdf.

The Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions, together with its 1851 Center for Constitutional Law, is a nonpartisan research and educational institute devoted to individual liberty, economic freedom, personal responsibility and limited government in Ohio.

ACORN Fraud

On October 8, 2008, in Uncategorized, by stix1972

More voter fraud from ACORN.   The Democrats are trying to steal the elections with fraud.  This has been going on for years and has been swept under the rug.   They need to shut down ACORN and Project Vote.  This is not voter disenfranchising, this is to have free and fair elections.  This should never be tolerated and those that are involves should be thrown in jail and have their voting rights taken away.  Enough is enough.  This is getting to be a theme every year.  For the past 3 or 4 Presidential votes, ACORN has been caught filing false voter registrations.   And to say that it is not their fault is preposterous, ignorance is not a defense against the law.

Chicago Style politics invading the country

On October 6, 2008, in Elections, by stix1972

Saul Alinsky wold be so proud of what Obama and his acolytes are trying to steal the Ohio election with wide spread fraud.

Maggie Thurber has the scoop.

Palestra.net has been doing some great reporting about voter fraud and questionable activities in Columbus, especially in the last 7 days when people could both register and vote on the same day.

I wrote about Shelby Holliday’s story on a homeless man voting in Ohio before going back ‘home’ to Chicago.

I’ve just seen this video with Tiffany Wilson, also from Palestra.net reporting to Fox News about a conversation with a volunteer who was encouraging people to vote for Obama.—Maggie
